TicWatch
TicWatch is a smartwatch brand launched by the Chinese artificial intelligence company Mobvoi on June 3, 2015. The range includes the TicWatch Pro flagship series, TicWatch C classic series, TicWatch S advanced series, TicWatch E trendy series, and TicWatch basic series.
The core TicWatch series is equipped with Wear OS by Google™, a smartwatch operating system. As Google’s official partner in China, Mobvoi has developed a Chinese app market for Wear OS by Google™ called the “Mobvoi Store” and a Chinese virtual assistant “TicVoice Assistant”. Additionally, Mobvoi provides services for other brands that use this smartwatch system, such as Suunto, Fossil, and LV.
The TicWatch series focuses on a full-smart concept, differentiating from most fitness bands and functional smartwatches in the market. Wear OS by Google™ offers users a range of ecosystem applications, including mainstream internet apps like Didi, Ctrip, Dianping, Alipay, Airlines Manager, Sogou Maps, Moji Weather, NetEase Cloud Music, Himalaya, Keep, Joyrun, and various mini-apps developed by small and medium developers like “Tiny Watch Face” and “Wrist Gallery”.
With the widespread adoption of eSIM technology by telecom operators, TicWatch now possesses independent networking and communication capabilities, allowing users to stay connected during outdoor activities and addressing the need for connectivity in scenarios where carrying a phone is inconvenient.
To address the battery life challenge of full-smart watches, the TicWatch Pro series features a globally patented Layered Display™ technology, which integrates a 1.4-inch full-color HD OLED screen and an ultra-low-power monochrome LCD screen. Users can freely switch between “Smart Mode” and “Essential Mode”, achieving 2-5 days of battery life in moderate daily use, and over 30 days in “Essential Mode”.
The core TicWatch series supports comprehensive fitness tracking features, with built-in TicHealth suite of apps, supporting five professional sports modes including outdoor running, outdoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor running, and freestyle training, along with sedentary reminders. It also integrates Mobvoi’s TicPay wrist payment function, supporting NFC-based payments like UnionPay, Alipay offline scanning, WeChat Pay (Android phones only), public transportation cards, and future support for VISA payments.
