On September 28, 2019, Galanz unveiled the world’s first IoT home appliance chip, “BF-Xijiang,” becoming the first home appliance company to achieve reverse customization of exclusive chips. On December 15, 2019, Galanz Group, together with China’s Evergrande Group and the Shunde District government, officially signed a tripartite cooperation agreement to jointly build an open-source chip base in Shunde, aiming to create a world-class chip industry ecological chain. In September 2020, the 2020 China Top 500 Private Enterprises list was released, with Guangdong Galanz Group Co., Ltd. ranking 488th, with an annual turnover of CNY 20,742.55 million.
On December 8, 2020, Galanz’s poverty alleviation plan was selected as an outstanding case in the People’s Daily’s 2020 Chinese Poverty Alleviation Enterprise Excellent Case.
