“Chant” is a brand under Guangdong Changqing (Group) Co., Ltd., headquartered in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China. Its main business includes the production and sale of gas appliances and related products, as well as biomass power generation.

Changqing Group is recognized as one of the “Top Ten Enterprises in China’s Light Industry Hardware Industry,” an “Excellent Private Technology Enterprise in China,” one of the “Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangdong Province,” a “Pilot Unit for Circular Economy in Guangdong Province,” and a “National Enterprise Intellectual Property Pilot Work Unit.” It’s also a Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center with over 100 patents of independent intellectual property rights. Moreover, it is one of the drafters of industry and national standards for four products: gas water heaters, gas stoves, gas rotary valves, and pressure regulators.

In the gas appliance business, Changqing mainly focuses on ovens, heating equipment, water heaters, gas stoves, and gas accessories. It currently possesses three major production bases and the first domestically recognized national laboratory along with the EU’s CE certified laboratory in the industry.

Changqing is renowned for having one of the strongest self-supporting capabilities and the most complete craftsmanship in the industry. It has equipped itself with various production methods, including mold manufacturing, die-casting, forging, sheet metal stamping, shearing, slitting, mechanical cutting, welding, enameling, powder coating, assembly lines, and more.

Turbocharged variable frequency direct injection technology is utilized, which propels air into the combustion chamber through a turbocharged device, ensuring sufficient oxygen for combustion. It mixes thoroughly with gas, ensuring complete combustion and effectively reducing the emission of harmful substances like carbon monoxide and nitrogen compounds due to incomplete combustion. This technology also enhances thermal efficiency.

Plum blossom-type burner head technology is employed. Chant’s fire sprayer uses a specially designed plum blossom-type direct injection combustion head, coupled with turbocharged direct injection technology. The flame is vertically sprayed upwards, with high flame temperature and concentrated firepower, achieving excellent heating effects on flat or pointed bottom cooking vessels.

Condensing technology is another aspect. Chant is an industry pioneer in adopting the popular European secondary separation heat exchange technology, coupled with a U-shaped condensation structure, ensuring full heat exchange and better energy-saving effects. It uses a patented oversized condensate collector that is easy to collect, discharge, and drip-proof, preventing the reflux of acidic condensate into the water tank or burner, thereby avoiding component corrosion and effectively prolonging machine life. Additionally, it uses lead-free oxygen-free copper environmental protection water tanks complying with EU RoHS requirements. This not only achieves efficient heat exchange but also achieves ultra-low emissions of nitrogen compounds and carbon monoxide, meeting both energy-saving and environmental protection standards.

As one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of gas appliances and related products in China, Changqing Group exports its products to more than 30 countries worldwide. Its brand “Chant” gas water heater was accredited as a “Chinese Famous Brand Product” as early as 2005. Gas appliance products have passed international quality system certifications such as CE, CSA, UL, and AGA.

In the biomass power generation business, the estimated total investment in running, under construction, and planned projects amounts to 1.12 billion yuan, including investment in the construction of the Zhongshan Central Group’s waste incineration power plant and cross-provincial investments in the Shandong Yishui Biomass Energy Power Generation Project and the Heilongjiang Province Mishui Biomass Energy Cogeneration Project.

In January 2009, with a total area of 208 acres and an estimated investment of 236 million yuan, the completion of the Changqing International Industrial Park marked a new starting point for Changqing’s second entrepreneurial journey, poised for further heights.
