Nine Dragons Paper was established in 1995 and its headquarters is located in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China. It was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2006 and is currently a global papermaking group with large production capacity and a leading enterprise in the integration of forestry, pulp and paper (the main products are various types of environmentally friendly packaging paper, high-grade all-wood pulp paper and its upstream and downstream industrial chains). The group currently has an annual designed papermaking capacity of over 20 million tons and more than 20,000 employees.

Nine Dragons Paper currently has production bases in Dongguan, Taicang, Chongqing, Tianjin, Leshan, Quanzhou, Shenyang, Hebei and Hubei in China, and is building a pulp and paper base in Beihai, Guangxi. Nine Dragons Paper actively responds to the “Belt and Road Initiative”, continuously promotes international development, and improves the industrial chain. In 2008, it completed the acquisition and holding of Truong Duong Paper Mill in Vietnam and entered the ASEAN market. In 2017, it completed the expansion of the second phase of the Vietnam base and became a leading papermaking enterprise in Vietnam. In order to further expand the international resource allocation and form a complementary resource advantage, in 2018, it acquired four pulp and paper mills in the United States (Rumford and Old Town in Maine; Biron in Wisconsin; Fairmont in West Virginia). In 2019, it acquired a pulp and paper mill in Mentakab, Pahang, Malaysia (producing recycled pulp from waste paper) and is building a new intelligent papermaking base in Selangor.

In addition, the group’s sister enterprises have established the largest domestic/foreign recycled resource recycling trading company upstream to provide the group with a stable supply of raw materials such as waste paper; the group has also established 8 intelligent packaging plants downstream to provide users with “intelligent, one-stop” services for paper packaging.

Nine Dragons Paper has introduced advanced technologies and large modern, intelligent equipment. At the same time, it attaches great importance to systematic and data-based management, applies the advanced SAP system management platform, and continuously innovates and researches. It is a representative of high-level intelligent manufacturing enterprises.
