HiPhi is a luxury intelligent electric vehicle brand under Human Horizons (HiCar), officially launched on July 31, 2019. It was created with a fresh perspective and framework to define a new category of intelligent automobiles. On the same day, the first production-ready model, the HiPhi 1, made its global debut, positioning itself as a luxury all-encompassing intelligent electric supercar SUV.
On August 11, 2020, Human Horizons announced the global launch of its luxury intelligent electric vehicle, the “world’s first ever-evolving supercar SUV,” the HiPhi X, at the Beijing Auto Show. On September 25, 2020, the HiPhi X was officially launched globally during the Beijing Auto Show. As planned, on May 8, 2021, the HiPhi X began mass deliveries to customers.
HiPhi is a brand that Human Horizons has co-created with various stakeholders, particularly users, to develop a new luxury intelligent electric vehicle brand. The brand’s vision is dedicated to building a closer relationship between people and the world through co-creation, creating a “harmonious yet different” world. The brand’s spirit embodies exploration, freedom, and creativity.
“High” corresponds to “Hi,” representing a high realm, high taste, and high affinity. “Harmony” corresponds to “Phi,” representing the golden ratio principle, symmetry, and perfect integration. The golden ratio principle is also applied in the brand logo design, creating a perfect geometric shape that fully embodies the spirit and vision of HiPhi. In terms of time, it represents the past, present, and future. In terms of space, it symbolizes the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, merging the “Φ” representing the golden rule discovered by Western philosophers and the “中” representing the essence of Chinese thought, symbolizing a “harmonious yet different” world.
In addition to space and time, the concept of “harmony yet different” also encapsulates a balanced way of thinking that blends reason with sensibility, science with art. It embodies the brand’s commitment to innovation, turning it into creation and fulfilling every promise from start to finish. The diverse and inclusive brand and logo represent a balance and harmony, perfect system operation, and are a significant manifestation of Human Horizons’ “Three Wisdom” strategy.
The HiPhi Urban Boutique Factory achieves full business chain digital management in production, setting a new benchmark for intelligent manufacturing in the digital age. With the philosophy of “intelligence, digitalization, interconnectivity, and environmental protection,” it serves as a demonstration of the high-end HiPhi brand and a base for user experience.
The design concept of the HiPhi factory continues the brand spirit of “exploration, freedom, and creativity.” Through holistic design that includes architecture, landscape, interior space, signage, and general lighting, it creates a city boutique factory with a strong science fiction atmosphere.
The factory is divided into three major zones: the front zone, intelligent manufacturing zone, and autonomous driving zone. These zones complement each other and have clear functions, making it a global manufacturing innovation center, an engineering and technology center, and a demonstration base for intelligent manufacturing and autonomous driving.
